But I do agree, give Mcleish a shot. Needs to be a Scotsman to understand the passion of our game.

Tough one, i wouldn't give it to big eck or Tommy Burns.

Souness is trying to buy Wolves he's out the picture, I think the only other 2 viable candidates in lesser jobs just now are Levein and Jeffries.

Maybe Strachan will apply again now his cv looks a big better

Step backwards, plus the fact he was jeered and houned out the squad by the tartan army not so long ago, even though he went on to play a pivotal role in winning Liverpool the uefa cup!

PLG is going to Marseille....

Big Eck but only if he got rid of his 106 gti Maybe give him a bash at it, but not been employed since he left Rangers....

Don't really know who else, what about George Burley?

I doubt he'd leave Southampton tbh, the job isn't as sought after as it should be down to a combination of the sfa being shit employers and the expectation levels of a country with a population of 5 million being far too inflated

View of a happy rangers fan.

I care not for the national team as much as i should tbh so i don't really mind. In the eyes of the real Scotland fan's he's let them down big time, the fact he's took us from nothing to lead a group with the 2 world cup finalists has lead the Tartan Army to have belief again. By signing with Rangers he's sent them down the garden path and a lot of them feel extremely bitter about it.

Wouldn't you do the same in his shoes More money, longer contract, fresh challenge!! Dont forget WS has done 2yrs in charge of Scotland, he has done well with them goes without saying but I dont think he could have done anything but good with them after the shambles they were left in by Berti Bogus, the fact remains hes never going to win trophies with them. Scotland manager is not all that a lucrative job to have!! Also theres the fact he has went back to full time management, not stuck part time national squad where he got a couple matches here & there then nothing for maybe 4-5 months. Maybe he prefers being a club manager after a tast of managing a national team!! I think he's made the right desision for himself, obviously not the Scotland fans but at the end of the day you have to see yourself right, thats what lifes about. Scotland will get another manager - life will go on!!
