i bought the phase xt1c component system recently only to find that when i took door panellin off the door that the speaker wouldnt fit. its 130mm and adapter is installed. due to shape of the door metal the magnet of the speaker will not fit, do i need to cut the panel at all, any ideas, also do i need tweeter adatpters to fit them in my car. any help would be very grateful. thanx

mine were too wide as well so i used a rubber mallet to widen the hole

To check the tweeters all you need is a flat blade screwdriver and prise it against where the door handle is and a cover should pop over revealing the tweeter

depends on what you mean by tweeters fitting.
i've got infinities and they're pretty much 'shoved in' with bits of plastic wedged in so they aim at me lol
