I went into myh company pension as they pay in as much as I do if not more and I can take it with me if I leave the company although thats all dependant on whether the next company would take it

If not i can continue it as my private pension

Still without watching that program but how can a company withdraw from paying out a pension if you have contributed to it?? Surely that equates to theft???

yes but it depends how they have invested it and it states in your t&C's that that the pension may be worth more or less than what you have paid in

Only bit of advice i agree with off my Dad. Invest in property, you will never loose out.

Im just saying there is a chance you can loose out, its not the perfect investment which will ALWAYS make you money.

As i work in a college i get same pension as teachers, only pay 6% and EPM pay the rest will still setup a personal svings account to pay £30 a month into.
