Im going to apply to uni route b pretty soon. Ive no idea where I want to go just know im not looking to do anything quite specific just something video and/or photography based.

Any ideas?

Tbh, it can be a bit specific at uni, though you usually can get a course that will link both aspects for you.

Best thing would be to get a few prospectuses, look at the courses they do you're interested in and then do some research on them.

If you're into video, then i would look at Bournemouth, Aberystwyth, Redbourne, Westminster

I was initially looking at doing Multimedia but then decided on Computer Studies. To be honest, at HND level they were the same modules apart from one on Multimedia in Networking.

Not to sure about the degree level as i just go to lectures and go home now.

When i looked at a course at Portsmouth for Digital Media they had a lot of decent kit and some good previous work from the students .etc

Cheers guys, not really sure either are the sort of thing I want to go into. I just really want to concerntrate on the photography side aswell as video documentation, without all the abstract fine art bollocks.

Tbh butler, im in my 2nd year and still don't know what i want to do. Went into uni doing a course that was a lot music production with electronica music (music concrete etc) with a bit of video on the side (just to keep a foot in that area), hoping to be a studio engineer. But now im more interested in video and want to work on music videos

My bro did degree in video edting and he really enjoyed that.
