which english player was transferred for £10m but never recieved an england cap?

all i know is he's still playing in the premiership

Kevin Davies was sold to Blackburn for £8.5m and never received a full cap IIRC

Id say its Young then. He is a forward, cost more or less 10m, hasnt played for England and was between two british clubs.

More trivia about him...
Young has two brothers in Watford's Academy system. Lewis Young is a first year scholar, whilst Kyle Young trains with Watford's under 11s[5]. Ashley and his brothers are all Liverpool supporters, despite all playing for Watford [6].

Ashley Young was in the same year at school as new McLaren driver Lewis Hamilton.
