On a sorsa b sport are a standard ecu, car key and immobiliser block off the steering column all linked?
If running say a C20XE in a sport but you dont have the immobiliser block will that stop the engine running? Or will it not matter as the standard ecu is no longer been used so there fore no form of immobilisation via the key code will be activated?

yes they are all linked
if you have a c16xe or c20xe etc.. then it doesnt matter if they arent fitted.

It's only on the later X engines the key chips etc were introduced.

So the transponder is coded as well or does it just transmit info from the key to the ecu? Also, will the alarm work without the ecu?
