Ive been looking at a 1.4 16v Corsa sport, the engine has an oil leak & sounds like a rattly diesel! anyone know what could possibly be wrong with it?

Couldn't you see where the oil was leaking from???

was it a tapity rattle or a loud rattle???

could be the bottom end that shagged, if so new engine required. or mayybe just a dry tappit. Drive it and see if it pulls ok if it makes a knocking noise and doesnt pull then its new engine time unfortunately
