Right i can start it if its been left a while and it will idle properly. Then if i drive it for 5 mins or so it wont idle and stalls. then i have to wait20 mins or so fr it to start again.
Did a code read on it and got,
- Incorrect RPM Signal.
- No RPM Signal
What am i looking at for being the fault.?

Well i had a simular problem with mine (1.2 8v jobbie ) it would run ok for a bit then it would splutter and cut out. This would usually happen after about 10 mins. You would then be unable to restart it for about 10mins. (usually happening at the worst possible moment/place )
It turned out that it was cutting out because it was been over fueled. As the engine is fed more fuel when it is cold to get it running this is then reduced once it is warm. However if the sensor that is monitioring this is faulty the engine will over fuel and cut out. This is also explains why it wont restart straight away (as the engine thinks it is cool when its not).
So I replaced the coolent temp sensor on mine and its been fine ever since Was about £4 from vaux
