At the moment, ive got 14" Softstars in gloss black, but very kurbed.
Ive just bought a set of 17's with tyres, with an offset of 45. But my cars also lowered 40mm.
Wil it scrub loads? I hardly ever have anyone in the back anyway, but im going to college again this month (210 mile away) and i take 2 other lads, plus luggage for 3 people. Just bothered if its going to scrub, ive tried them on the car, but took them back off again to re-furb them. There going white this time.
Just bothered about it scrubbing, and thinking should i stick the softstars back on for when i go to college?
Oh and while im on the subject, how much are the softstars worth? 2 brand new tyres, and 2 ok tyres (175/65/R14) and they would be fully re-furbed in either black, antracite, silver or white.

Shouldn't be any hassle with the 17s, unless you're taking passengers all the time

Mine was lowered 40mm with 17s and same as you have to take 2 mates to uni plus our bags and it only ever scrubbed if i hit a big-ish dip in the road at speed, never just driving normally.
Should be fine

When i had 17's on my old sport lowered 40mm rubbed slightly on the arches cornering and bumps with 4 people in car....Nothing excessive though.
