My mate has just bought a CL500 today.

Going up his street (very steep) + black ice + rear wheel drive + 306 bhp = Slid down sideways and curbed his 19" alloys!!!!

fog lights are called driving lights! they're r suposed to be used in severe weather conditions! heavy rain,snow, fog etc! incase u didnt realise...........it was snowing, quite hard! visibilty was poor!

bah, it had melted by lunch yesturday then from 3 p.m til about 10 p.m it snowed constantly I drove back from my gf's house bout 8 and had to do 20 mph in a 50 zone because the road was like an ice rink!

then it rained last night and its all gone! no more handbrake slides

Snowed from about 7pm till about 11ish here... by 7am it had all gone and it's been constant rain which sucks cos i wanna go out tonight and there's not a great deal you can do in the rain

BBC weather says snow again in my area tonight... let's hope it does

No they aren't. They are fog lights and they are for fog. You use them because your main beam in the fog will just make the fog whiter. Your dipped beam isn't bright enough or focused enough, but your fog lamps are.
