What I need in this post for anyone that is interested is your FULL NAME, anyone that is interested in the event needs to put there name in here, then the list will be sent of to MSV, so when each person books they can tick you off and know you are from the Corsasport booking
The deadline for registering your interest is Friday 16th February, the list of names will then be sent off
All payments and bookings need to be made to MSV by Friday the 2nd March
The track day WILL be going ahead regardless of how many people from here go, so you don’t need to leave it till the very end of the deadline to make sure there are enough people going etc
The Location
Brands Hatch Circuit
Fawkham,
Longfield,
Kent DA3 8NG

The Track
Of all the circuits in Britain, Brands Hatch is the one that exudes the most character. History seeps from every fibre of its being and, as a spectator venue, it is unsurpassed in what it can offer. The natural amphitheatre that is its 1.2 mile Indy configuration offers unparalleled views of the action, while its sensational Grand Prix circuit remains one of the biggest challenges in UK motor racing
Indy Circuit
Length: 1.198 miles (1.929 km)
Direction: Clockwise
Corners: 6
Typical Session Track Day
Signing of indemnity forms, checking of driving licenses and allocation of instruction sessions.
Safety Briefing
This will cover everything you need to know about the day from rules of a track day, through to car preparation, driving techniques and circuit information.
Track Time Begins
Circuit time is split into 20-minute sessions and normally starts with the advanced group. This would mean that if circuit time starts at 9am the advanced group will go out at 9am followed by the intermediate group at 9:20am and the novices at 9:40am. This format then repeats throughout the day.
Lunch
On all track days there is a one hour lunch break, which will be between 12am and 2pm.
Afternoon Track Time Begins
This commences once again with the advanced track day drivers. Some sessioned afternoons are run as an open pit lane because everyone has had the morning on circuit to get up to speed.
Track Time Ends
It’s time to head home.
Why is it now a sessioned day
After even more talking to MSV, and what they can offer, this is the best answer we could come up with, what it will allow us, of we get the numbers, is to go out together on track, which I’m sure a lot of you will agree is a plus point for a lot of you
if the driving standard is good throughout the day, after lunch will turn into an open pit lane day, meaning 4 hours of driving in the afternoon, choosing when you go out and come back in
The Date
Wednesday April 11th
The Cost
Normal £175, CS discount if numbers are decent, £155ish
I am sure some of you will ask why is the cost higher than some places, and why its more expensive than when we talked about it before, well it comes down to to things, the track hire is more expensive in the "summer" season. and also, more daylight, means more track time, means more £££
The advantage of going through CS
If we get a pre determined number of bookings, we all get a discount on the price, and also get advantages of using the Pit Garages for free, which usually will be around £100-£160 for us all
Who can attend ?
Any CS member who want to, going against CS official events policy we cannot allow just Corsa's on this occasion
Requirements
A U.K driving license and a roadworthy car/or an acceptable maintained track day car
A crash helmet
And if in a open topped car, long sleeved top
But I don’t own a crash helmet ?
Don’t worry you can hire one for around £10 from Brands Hatch
What happens if 2 people want to share a car
No problems, addition drivers can be added for £25
What about passengers
Passenger passes can be bought for £10
And spectators
To spectate is free
Will there be catering facilities on site
There are catering facilities available, breakfast, lunch and tea’s and coffees etc. are available
Accommodation
There is loads, I can supply a list of hotels and B&B's which are all within 10 minutes from the circuit
Noise Limits
Cars: Saloon & Sports Cars - 105dB(A) measured statically at 0.5metres and 45deg angle, at ¾ maximum rpm
Which group should I book into?
Novices
You have never done / done 2 or 3 trackdays before.
Intermediate
You have done a few track days before and now know what a track day is all about. You are confident about being on circuit with other drivers who have also done track days before.
If you have an exceptionally fast car like a Radical for example, but you have not done track days before, then this group may also be suitable. Likewise, if you have done a lot of track day before but have a slow vehicle then this group would also be appropriate.
Advanced
You have completed many track days before and are a competent and confident track driver. You are not fazed with being on circuit with other fast vehicles.
Also don’t worry, if you book into a group, but your clearly faster, at the organizers desecration they will move you up to the next group
Payment
Payment needs to be made to MSV by the 2nd March to ensure your space on the day, you can either pay over the phone, or using the MSV website
It would be much much easier to book on the phone, as with the list of names I have from CS, that I have sent MSV, they will be able to tick you off as you book, ensuring that we work towards the discounts for everyone
