Hi,
Whenever I start up the car, within a few second the tunes are blaring out, its quite irritating. Will there be an option on the head unit to stop this, or is it a wiring problem?

This is normal behaviour for most CD players.

As suggested before all the flaming started..... you need to remove the ignition live and put it to another permanent live.

This means that when you enter your car, you will have to turn your CD player on AND off manually.
