Are they worth it for weight saving?
Whats the fit like on pro-tec stuff?

there are other things i'd do first if trying to save weight. Free things.

I would never put them on a road car and the fit is crap.

they will save you wieght, but their main purpose is to allow mor esuspension travel and bigger wheels to fit with no fouling of the body work. hence most of them have wider archs.

boot and bonnet are ok tho, the standard tailgate is massivly heavy!
