I will post pics later but....

Bought a silver venetian blind for my front window, meaured up, bought it, took time trimming down the edges and cutting the slats etc...

To find that its 2 - 3" too short I can't believe i made a mistake like that

On the other hand my dad came up today and we fixed a radiator richie had pulled off the wall (wasnt on properly and we didnt know, one day he pulled it and the whole thing just came off the wall ) and i put some blinds up

Did anyone else do much this wknd? ... apart from neoquip who took a whole fecking extension down, making me feel less proud of my massive achievements

Time to find a smaller window to use it on then!!

I just sorted everywhere out as hopefully going to put this place on the market or rent it out soon and move up in the world.

Getting a new bathroom in a couple of weeks hopefully but might call someone in to help cos I dont fancy playing around with the electrics for the shower. I wanna get a shower like my mums with the tank and pump in the attic, and then all you have in the cubicle is a control button and the shower head, its like a waterfall Get rid of the bath, big walk in shower etc...

I got someone in to measure the windows and fit blinds. Was quite cheap too i thought, £120 for 4 windows.

Did the same for carpets too, i'm not right good with numbers Didn't wanna spend stupid amounts of money and then realise i'd fucked right up

I managed to clean up this weekend, that's about it. Spent rest of the time messing around with the computers lol. But i'm looking at moving in 8 - 12 months if i can and this flat is as good as i'm gonna get it. Wanna buy something new next time, saves all the messing around. Took me 2 years to sort my place out.

We bought some curtains for the living room pation doors in summer. I measured them up wrong and got them adjusted 3 inches too short. My mrs packaged them up and took them back to the shop saying she doesn't want them anymore.

Then I went in and bought another pair. Thats how you do it
