Just finished his autobiography. Really good read and it just shows how hes misconceived by people and was a scapegoat for Irelands failures. Hes certainly not as hard faced as I always thought he was.

I like Keane's rant towards Mick McCarthy (RoI manager) "....I didn't rate you as a player, I don't rate you as a manager, and I don't rate you as a person...." hehe. And I respect him as a player for his great contribution to football over the years, as well as his ability to say what he thinks I mean how many players do that now (not under the careful eye of the PR company/agent) incase it affects their "image" or sponsorship deals

yes but going out to break someones leg on purpose makes him of CHUMP, stamping on someone when they are on the ground makes him Chairman of CHUMP

He explains his actions in the book, but doesn't excuse them.

Yeah like Vinne Jones does in his autobiography regarding the Paul Gascoigne incident...

I think his pitch presence was better than his playing abilty, certainly for his last few seasons anyway.

He may of been a CHUMP but he was a fantastic player. There have been many CHUMPS in the premiership, not many as good as him though.
