Right ive been offered some black cav sri alloy wheels. I think they are 15" so will 288mm v6 brakes fit behind them? Or will i need spacers or something?

yup they fit and your brakes will appear to be huge as its tight inside the rim.

will fit as long as no weights are on the inside edge of the rim

They fit with weights if the place uses lead ones, not the new style plastic ones.
