will a 16v bottom end mate up with a 8 valve bottom end?
bottom end(block pistons crank etc) from a c16xe
head from a e16se or c16se

Think the oil and water ways are all different.
Remember reading something about this.

I think someone on here did it, or maybe on MIG.
It would make sense, thinking about it, as Vauxhall are pikeys and always used what was available.
Go for it, if it doesn't work, sell the decent block and get a 16XE one

CP off novaload did the opposite...
16v head on 8v bottom end..
apprently it was a load of fucking about, virtually changing everything, pistons and so on...
just they both should mate up though
