I could understand giving him one when he was alive but really what's the point now? It wont make him be remembered any differently.

no, but its a sign of recognition for his family, seems he has been ignored when other managers have got recognition for a lot less.

You can't deny his achievements, although you can't deny fergusons either he's pretty amazing tbh given how much the games moved on since he started he still knows what he's doing.

Honours are given out for pretty much anything these days, most of the English football team has recieved OBE's for being monumental failures.
