I wanted to get into marine fish, so i went and got an all in one nano tank, its 12 gallon, so quite small, but it came with all the toys, like 10k lighting, a skimmer, a uv streliser and a pump. ive also added to extra pumps for more flow.
so far, its is been expensive, but not to bad, cost me:
the tank, £130
all the saltwater, containers and test equipment, 100
and then 6kg of living rock, which was expensive, 70 quid!!
i was also given a small coral frag, which opened straight away, which is good. and ive found about 3 snails and a starfish, althought that may have to go.
That is all

Im more talking for a tropical tank. But yes for a marine that big you'd need the cash.
Just seems a huge huge price for a very small marine set up when you could of gone a fair amount larger by buying stuff individually.

for 130 quid for a tank, u wont get anything near that seperatly. a stand alone skimmer is about 70 quid. Let alone the lighting it has, even has leds for moonlighting. but for the money for a tropical tank ud get alot more, but lets face it, marine set ups look a million times nicer

its a 12 gallon, you could easily price up a skimmer, tank, filter and lighting for less than £130
