is it worth me gettn a k&n air filter for my corsa 1.2 8v, im thinking about gettn rid in august, but then the car is in good order n only got 48k on the clock now n its an n reg...i want sumink bit faster on acceloration, or on the other hand would a k&n panal filter be any good. wot to do

induction kit won't help acceleration at all. will most likely slow you down with flat spots.

yea if its worth me gettn an induction kit or just wait till august and get another corsa hopefully a gsi where it be more effective with other mods such as full exhaust system

dont get an induction kit for performance if you want more noise get it. BUT you are better off drilling your crrent airbox and fitting a KN panel filter

i wouldn't bother mate. I had a BFO on my 1.28v and it made no difference aprt from sound and flat spots

I have a Impreza STI with the standard box on rather than an induction kit, so what do you think is best for a 1.4 corsa?

IF you insisted on getting an induction kit, just make sure it's an enclosed one at least. Still pointless, but at least you won't suffer major heat-soak like those ghey BFO things.

Some people will say yes, most will say no.

Best advice for a corsa is a performance panel filter and drill the bottom of the airbox for the "induction grunt".

nah aint worth the money at all, really apreseate the comments,i see wot u mean about waste of money n then telling the insurance company as well, thats even more money, not worth it,thanks

Like everyone says, don't waste your money on it, put towards a new car. They can cause problems, if you want to do something, do as above and get a panel filter/ drill the airbox
