See the Hargreaves interview after the Bayern game? He was asked who'd win out of United and Milan, and he says 'United'. The other bloke asked why he thinks that is, and he says 'Did you not see the Roma game?!'

Hagreaves wouldnt even get in the United team, would rather Carrick play with Scholes  Saying that though, he wouldnt be a bad back up

Scholes is pushing onto the twilight of his career now, Hargreaves gives you a different option as does Fletcher and Ji-Sung as well all to varying levels but the strength of the midfield would certainly look better with Hargreaves!

Scholes will need to be replaced with someone who can score goals from the centre of midfield, Hagreaves, Carrick, Fletcher and Ji-Sung, dont have that ability, we may have Ronaldo scoring plenty of goals, but we definately need someone to replace the little ginger man. Gerrard would be great  but it wont ever happen
