Can't be done, have to crash into something and get into the engine bay that way.

pull the handle in the drivers footwell the there is a small catch in the centre of the bonnet pull that and lift the bonnet

dont mean that bud, ment lifting the bonnet from the window screen part for venting.

need a new rad as my fan has snapped off, just thought this was a gd way to vent the engine (so ive been told)

You mean raising the back edge

Right, you need to make a little plate that bolts between the hinge and bonnet to lift it up an inch or two, couple of people on here have done it.
