As above. Bascially am owed i tax rebate of over a grand. Been thinking about splashing out for a while now on a tv. Anything from 40" up really

Does anyone know much about this?

also i have seen a few 42" for about 700ish made by LG and Samsung. Anyone know much about these?

For screens over 40" you are best off looking for Full HD capable tvs (1080p) like:

makro have a sony 50" lcd hd for about 500 plus vat. cba finding a link, you're a big enough boy. but it is a beast of a telly


I would rather lose by a mile because i built my own car, than win by an inch because someone else built it for me.

Is that Samsung any good?

Good couple of hundred cheaper than the equivalent sony.
Are you sure the makro one isn't the confusing '3 lcd' rear projection set?

I have the F71 (it's short lived predecessor) and it's awesome (comparable to a W2000 etc). The M87 I assume must be LED backlit with that contrast ratio and at least as good surely...

If it's led backlit I might just have to buy it.
