Hello, Im Converting my x12xe to a x14xe.

What else will i need apart from the following which i have got:

Exhaust manifold
Engine Loom
New Drivers side mount bracket

Anyone any help.

Got all the bits apart from the mount i think, getting the mount tomorrow.

Is it just a case of unplugging my harness and plunging the new one in?

You need a complete exhaust system, as your 1200 one wont fit the 1600 downpipe.

i have, engine, loom, gearbox, decat, and full system, 2 ltr brake conversion, is there anything else i need, apart from the front mount to fit a 14xe into 12volt

You'll need the ECU and key chips to match aswell or it wont start....

I now have everything apart from the engine mount, which Im getting today.

Would you recommend, putting the harness in first, dropping new engine in, then all bits on after that?

Is the starter motor the same from the 1.2 for the 1.4?
