I have had the car for roughly 6 months now but hardly done anything to it, I started off with the usual debadge and took the bump strips off the doors.
I then went about smoking the rear lights and indicators, also removing the rear seats. I then got some raceland 3 point harnesses and fitted these to the standard front seats.
One morning as I jumped into my car I found someone had hit the mirror breaking the glass and the mirror clips so I ordered some DTMs from GBK performance.
I then had it decatted, drilled the airbox and also destricted the inside.
Over the last 2 weeks I have went on a bit of a spending spree and got a few things from various places and decided to put them on the car. Today I fitted a rear opel badge, dewipered and plugged it (mole lol), fitted the sportex backbox replacing a peco 2", Some astra gte wheels (£35) and a quick scrub up with a wire brush on the rear drums complimented with a lick of hammerite. I then fitted a color coded rear bumper.
Also a trip to the local scrappy revealed a laguna splitter for £5.
Some quick pics of todays progress
I have also had a play with a different numberplate too search out an alternative style lol
Tomorrows plans: im lowering her 60mm, possibly fitting 2.0L brakes and a quick service.
Parts left to fit:
Debadged grill onto the color coded pre 97 bumper
Dbilas throttle conversion
Some bonnet lifters from corsacentre
Possibly a kent cam
Possibly a 4 branch
And a cotton panel filter

Nice base to work from, could be impressive.
I reckon the back lights work, because it's a black car.
The SRi badge on its own works well as well.

Have you cut the laguna splitter into 2 pieces and left a massive bit out the middle?!
New wheels look a lot better - could do with a lower profile tyre though.
Proper front plate looks far better too

Looks nice.
You should get an Opel badge for the bumper to match the boot lid badge.
Also, I know you said you have ordered new plates, but you really need that front one back to standard
The lights I quite like, they suit the car.
Alloys look good, but look like they could do with a little touch up.
