New pitches always tend to be a little cut up after their first games. It'll need time to really knit in and a few games to toughen it all up.

i had a thought tht it dindnt look nearly as good as it should as im guessin there preparing it for next weeks fa cup final, grass looked bit longer today etc so i guess there gna cut it down fill the holes in and get it perfect for next week.
still doesnt feel like the old wembley to me tho!!!

The roof doesnt allow for much sunshine to get to the soil, so they've been using artificial lights to help it.

Anfield has those, got them a few seasons ago and can see the difference during the winter when there is a lack of light during the days.
