Survey £300
Solictors/search fees £400
if property is over 125k then Stamp duty @ 1%
Deposit on mortgage £???
Insurances £??

I have just brought a new house and here are my fees:

Solictors Fees : £400
Vat on Charges : £74.38
Stampduty : £1300
Land Registry Fees : £150
Bank Transfer Fees : £30
Vat Thereon : £5.25
Local Search Fee : £122.00
Land Charges Seach Fee : £6
Land Registry Seach Fee : £2
Inland Revenue Land Duty Tasx Form : £50
Enviromental Search Fee : 32
Mining Search : £19
Some Morguage Fee : £250

In Scotland the Seller pays for the search fees.
Our fees are based on purchase price, but are usually around the £5-600 mark.
Then registration dues depend on the purchase price as well....
