right my car has been laid up for a bit now got into it yesterday and jumped it all run ok went down the road and no speedo?

i have had a look at the connection and cant see anything a miss i have even left it loose and drove down the road nothing?

any 1 got any ideas? its a 1.0 12v for now saving for an xe and the speedo is electric

I have this too, which fuse? If its the cable how much does it cost to fix??

well i had a look at the fuses near the right side of the steering wheel and couldnt find 1 which is blown i will have to check again or is there somewhere else the fuse might be?

it they are electric mate, would say the fuse aswell, same happened to mine ages ago, its the same fuse as the cigerette lighter thing

failing that, could it not be the actual speedo sender? or something?

do the other clocks work?

Would it not be an idea to take them out and give them a good clean/blow to make sure nothing has fucked it up when it was standing?

yeah i have changed the fuse no joy i have put a thread asking to borrow someones clocks but no 1 has got a set near by that i can borrow so i can if mine should be working or not

i have taken the clocks out and had a look nothing seems to be wrong i have taken all the gearbox sensors out and cleaned them too nothing

everything else works bar the speedo fuel temp all the normall lights are fine
