at the moment ive got the standard gsi spoiler on my corsa but i was at a scrappy and found an irmscher spoiler with the built in brake light, what i want to know is, will it be a straight swop over or will there be more to it?

anyone got any ideas?

its just a gsi spoiler with a light really. should be straight swap with the spoiler then wire the brake light up to one of the std rear brake lights

i had a look at it on the car and its one piece compared to mines which has the black back plate then the spoiler on top

Matt L has a replica Spoiler with a brake light, his is the only one I know of.

I'd get it, it won't sit flush as a ganuine one but you can easily wire in the brake light

As Pete said, they don't sit flush, so the standard one looks better.

looks to be as good a fit as the one thats on the car, id have thought it being made by irmscher would have ment it would have been as good a fit as possible as there not known for bad quality or badly fitted parts

They do fit well, they just don't sit flush with the boot like the normal ones do.

Stavs' one used to have a brake light in it, if there's pics in his garage you can see...

Mmm might as well take it anyway ive got some wee dents in my tailgate and it seems to fit well on the tailgate its on so might just take the tailgate

do the gm ones have a back plate
i bought one off of ebay and it has not got one will it still sit fine

ive seen them fitted with out the black backing plate but on the sri/gsi etc the rear window washer is fitted to the back plate
