Yeah probably did, but i've seen a few cars that upgrade the lights and the wheels, but don't do the mirrors (which is fair enough cause they're damn expensive )

2003 onwards (but pre facelift cars) had a lower cross hatch grille like your talking about, but thay came with everything the facelift has, but different bumpers and front lights .

I wouldnt buy either the VTR or 1.4 corsa C

I would have a lupo Tdi. would trounce them both in performance and handling and not fall to bits and give 50mpg. remap it and get bagloads of torque and slay the vts's down the strip as well

i tend to agree with wot u say most times but a 1.4 tdi lupo only gets to 60 in 12 ish and a 1.4 c in 10.5 so i presume there slower, wot about a 1.7cdti C

0-60 in 12 secs as standard, will do a 16 second 1/4 mlie.

a decent remap gives them 115 bhp and 190lb/ft of torque. thats enough to give most things on the road a bit of a shock. that much torque in such a small car is great fun to drive.

with the change you get from the insurance cost and the fact you will get twice the miles from £10 of fuel, the remap works out free

If I was buing a cheap to run and reliable small car for around 4k, lupo tdi would be top of the list
