Is there any way to find out what traffic a webpage has been getting?
Have used dnscoop.com but not really giving any info, anywhere else?

Your own site?
Google Analytics - works ok but gives loads of info (more than needed sometimes)
Someone elses - not really possible with any degree of accuracy I don't think...

someone elses.
My Dad is looking at buying into it, so used DNsccop to see what it came up with. Wasnt too good but is the total opposite to what the seller said (not surprise!) so wanted to see if I could dig anything else up as the financials he is doing look great.

If he seriously wants to sell it get him to give you the server log files. That'd tell you what sort of traffic he gets.
I wouldn't think someone would fake it as the amount of time you'd spend making up false IPs/dates/times would take f*cking ages.
If he refuses then he's likely got something to hide IMO.

Yeah, I know we'll get those eventually. But its just to get some info before he goes to the meeting with him so he can have info to hand. Saves all the hassle of getting into the deal before he can get the info off him to see if its true or not!

See what you mean.....
Still don't think you can get a great idea - perhaps try searching google for terms relating to the site. For example if its a corsa website search for corsa and see where it places. Higher ranking usually means more traffic. If it doesn't appear across a range of terms then thats bad news.......
Might take half an hour or so but gives you a slight indication.....better than nothing.....
Sorry I can't be more help

You There is some excellent stats that we use called Mint.
But like most stats as far as I know (Im not the techy guy who set this up on our site) You need it installed before hand to track from (I may be lying, might just need the server log files)
