Could West Ham be the next Chelsea in 2 seasons time? Theres already talk of of them signing Darren Bent and the rumours surround Craig Bellamy. I've just read this by Harry Redknapp:
"Craig Bellamy would do for us. But West Ham want him and would double his wages to £100,000 a week. How do you compete with that?"
He has a point, as long as they can get people to come they can afford pretty much who they want.

no, its all be hyped wrongly
we signed alot of players in jan for over the odds to get us out of trouble
but we only have the £££ and spending power now, that clubs like blakcburn/villa/spurs even have had in the past
look at players blackburn use to sign, beatie for 9million for example, davies for 8mil ? or similar, all over the top, but if other clubs know you have £££ they will hold you to ransom
we're trying to break into the next level of clubs, and get in the top 7, how do you do that, by getting better players, and to get them you have to pay them more money to come to you intially

yes, within reason
but we're spending £££ now and creating a team, as over the next 2 years after this we wont have alot because of the new stadium

thats the plan/rumour
eggy wants up in europe, and to be there consistantly, and wants a 60k stadium down the road in newham iirc
the plan was to build a team now with hevy investment, and then make small additions over the next 2 seasons after this
