WOW, BLOODY BRILLIANT

Could not believe how good it was.

After test driving a Corsa C 1.8sri aswell, the fabia gets my vote every time, maybe not on styling terms, but everything else.

After test driving the VRS I told my mate about it. He did not believe me one bit, but he doesent have much knowledge tbh and didnt even know that they were VW.

Anyway he owns a Astra G GSI turbo. After i told him about the VRS he said to me maybe i should try driving a fast car and gave me his keys. IMO though the astra is fast i didnt think it was as good as the VRS and didnt give the same torque feeling. He thinks im bulls***ing him.

Only thing now is to decide what car i want with that engine.

Polo 1.9 tdi gti - Probably gona cost the most

Skoda fabia VRS - only comes in a 5 door

Seat Ibiza FR - the cheapest to buy, mmm is there a reason for that, heard that interior can be cheap on them

see told ya

Did you find the handling to be a bit soft though or did you not get a chance to push it lol.

dont worry about the fabia being a 5 door, pulls it off imo.

polo is defo going to be premium price. I think the VRS will hold its value more then the ibiza.

Either way 3 cracking cars there.

yeah i did think th polo would be the most expensive tbh, and i think you need to get a 05 plate one to have the new front lights dont you.

thought the handling was fine.

really need more info on the seat tbh as the skoda felt really good allround, so a seat is still a option if its just as well made

Its interesting how many people talk about what amazing results can be had remapping a diesel engine but how many people can relate to that first hand?

fabia vrs is a fantastic car.

my mate got rid of his z3 for one as it was a much better car.

all the toys, damn quick and excellent mpg. quite rare too

oh and they did make a 3dr version but they are rare as rocking horse shit as they only produced them for about the first 6 months the vrs was out and hardly anyone ordered them so you are quite unlikely to find one

Me, you get amazing results from remapping diesels, especially the 130 pd engine in the vrs.
