some one has asked me to post this to find the problem for them, your help would be appreciated cheers all. i think it sounds like crankshaft sensor or summit along those lines.
any takers?
need some help!! just converted my corsa 2 a 2.0 8v from a 1.2 the engine runs fine. wen its not moving. then it missis and back fires like hell and has got a huge flat spot. but when its stationary i can rev it flat out and theres no problem. its just when it moves, mainly over 50mph. any1 have a clue??

Does the engine mangement light come on when it plays up?
Make sure you have the EML wired up and check for fault codes.
Also was the car previously a 1.2 8v? Did you change the fuel pump to an MPi or 16v pump?

In the same boat,,,mine runs fine at a standstill,but wen trying toi drive it it coughs....i havnt changed it from a 1.2 pump yet so i think ures mite be the same...
