If you want something very quick then get a corsa, stick a LET in it with phase 3, drive it and cack your pants.

My mate (muppetsport) has a 442 BHP corsa, its quite simply scary and painful accelaration.

full rebuilds are some magical myth. Unless the engine is underpowered blown rings or done 200,000 miles IMO they dont need it.

Mine was never rebuilt, worked a treat! Only things that ever went wrong were sensors. Not the engine never skipped a beat.

Ive only ever seen 2 conversions that i would consider "dodgy" and tbh i doubt my opinion would even count considering i have never ever driven them.

My let was at 125,000 miles. Had its cunt kicked by the owner before me, then i booted its balls and it made 249.9bhp with only a frontera intercooler i found in a mates garden and a phase 2 chip.

Keep the saxo, its lovely, and a bit different from any others you see. Anyone with taste is instantly aware that it isn't "chav." What do you pay for insurance at the moment on it?
