just leave the tweeter wire just make sure its insulated ive got my xovers in the door card ive cut just above where the standard speakers sit and mounted them there as for the wiering just take the wire that gose to your standard speaker and wire it up to your xover and then bring your mids and tweeters out of that

in my old mk3 astra i put the corssover in a plastic bag and taped it inside the skin of the door worked well just make sure its well secured and the bag/bags well tied and waterproof!!!

my tweeter already had a crossover built into the wire, what i did was to use the original wire the wire with the stripe on is the positive wire
