Hi, my corsa SRi seems to be a bit fooooked lol. It sometimes just cuts out when im driving it, but then wont start unless i have either jump leads or bump start it. I just recently put a new battery on it, i've also checked all earths and the EML light somethimes comes on too. Also when i put the new battery on it went fine then i was at the garage getting my new tyres fit and then it wouldn't start again, there was jus no power until we bump started it down the road. Some would just say its knackered but any ideas would be great.

Alternator is fine and spinning we checked this a few times and put a new belt on. Cheers.

so its fine cuz its spinning?

have u measured the charging rate?

have u performed a drain test to make sure summat isnt draining the battery whilst car off?

No i haven't done any of them i not very useful with cars but just need a few ideas of what it is for when i sell it to say what the problem could be with it as im buying a new car on friday

Fix the problem before you sell it you'l get a lot more for it. IMO it defo sounds as if the alternater is draining the battery (or not charging the battery)

Ok thanks, ill see what i can do. Ill just ask back on here if i get anymore problems. Buying a nova c20xe on friday if all goes well btw.
