ive got some stuff called 'clear gasket'
comes in a yellow and black box. used it on my sandwich plate - works a dream!
is flexible like silicone but harder setting and resistant to oil water and petrol.

My rocker cover is leaking oil. Even after using a loctite gasket sealer

yup....although i dont have a torque wrench here at home.
Think its 8nm on rocker bolts

Did you replace the gasket when youtook the cover off?

yeh i was gnar say.
if not wipe it down with petrol might be gritty bits on it.

did you put sealant on the corners around the cam bearings and rear semi cirle bits?
if not use hermatite red. never failed me with a rocker cover

Yup, i figgured if it was going to leak it would leak there...
and it did
