tried to start my car today and it just seems to keep turning over, seems like the immobiliser isnt switching off checked fuses and they seem fine.
any clues?

Is the EML light on the dash flashing when you try start it?? If it is then its definately imob issue, check the transponder on the ignition barrel, and that the chip is still in the key.
If the light isnt flashing, could be a whole host of issues. (crank sensor, coilpack, injector relay, etc...)
