Also it needs a VIC check? Is this a big deal???

VIC is £36.00 IIRC, plus it'll need MOTing before, which is £20-odd and normally after which is the normal price AFAIK.
My Laguna has to go through the whole VIC process in a couple of weeks.

it has 12months MoT, he said he will let it go for 3800. So i offered him 3900 if it is VIC tested. I'd rather pay a ton and it was all good than take it do it myself and find out its fucked.
