The splitter was colour coded when I got the car painted, but it cracked almost straight away, the rubber is too flexible to be painted. Looks better in black anyway in my opinion

Thanks to everyone for the comments, I love the attention my car gets cos I worked so hard to get it looking the way I wanted it to!
**UPDATE** the wheels look like they can have about 5mm machined off them and still be safe, judging on the thickness of the 16's. My plan is to get the wheels machined down and repainted in the same bright silver, and then cut the metal arches back and flare them out, trim the plastic arches slightly and then get the arches and skirts repainted if necessary!

lol I can see where you coming from stavs, and not that I dont value your opinion, but I'm not fitting them because plenty of people here have said they look good, I created this thread because I wanted people to suggest a way I could make them fit! Which really means that it should have been in the help section

they look fit davey, but you have moaned about ride hight and comfort...so you add 17's with skinky tyres get the 16's painted up silver, -30/50 on the eibach sportline kit, bilstein dampers...you will alot happier driving the car instead of happy having pimp wheels...

lol good point, but the tyres are only 5% thinner, I think the ride is more to do with the suspension, I will change the suspension and try the 17s if it is still uncomfortable, I will stick the 16s on! Oh and I'm gonna try and change my username cos people always think my names davey, but its jack! davey is my surname

Is there any updates on this? Did you manage to get them to fit with no problems?
