Hi peeps
was getting these alloys and the guy said the max is 42 offset shud i part with cash on this 1 they are 17s but wrong offset like 42 which i have heard 45 offset and 49 is good, this is going to be dropped 40mm i think i shud go for a 45 offset and different rims wat u guys think???
please help me out on this 1

49mm this will put wheels further into arches, less rubbing problems and NO handling probs

when bk299s first come out they only did them in a 38 off set
but i really wanted them and with a bit of work got them on
car is also lowered 40 and don't have any problems with them at all

45 lowest you want to go mate. Got 45 16's on mine. With the 17's and a 40mm drop i think u may get some problems with a 42 et

u will have LOADS of probs wiv 42 offset!!!! 45et is fine, mines dropped 40mm on a 45et and i have NO probs!!!!

i am thinknig of getting mine dropped 40mm on Coilover with 17" what would be the best offset? 45et?

what coilovers?
maybe a case of et45 rear but then need to use spacers on front to bring it out to et 42??
also make sure you have 7" wide not 7.5" rim

i got ET49 lowered 40mm and i can jump bricks and logs with no rubbing
