yeah in a 30 , i know its speeding but still it was a fat ass grumpy copper in his volvo

Still perfectly legal to pull you though.
I got done doing 46 in a 40. Now thats harsh!!! But, i was still speeding and had to pay the fact of getting caught.

Doesn't do much to ur insurance as so many people have SP30 now, but, ur jsut have to be carefull now.

Dont get caught then.
I was doing about 45-50 up a 30mpg hill, got pulled over by pigs on foot, they asked me if i knew how fast i was going i said " No i was concentrating on the road " wich is a fair enough comment seing as if i was looking at my spedo i would have run the piggy down. Oh i got away with it BTW

I got a cracker.
Coming down the A2, about 1am, no traffic, sitting at about 100-110, indicating, being sensible, jsut fast. Pulled off at my junction, and this car comes hammering it up behined me. I'd had 2 bottles, so was unsure, so drove normally. This car drops off, then comes hammering it up behined me. Sod this, dropped to 2nd and nailed it. Started getting upto about 60 odd (40limit) n its time to start shaving the corners (middle of no-where, all country roads and can see headlights), started to leave this car behined, then all of a sudden, blue flash flash, ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh feeeck. Pulled me over, I got straight out, new what he was gonna say. Bloke gave me a little lecture about going to fast, calm down blah blah, then spent the next 20 minutes talking about my car, the ICE etc. Did i do the work myself etc ha ha.
I reckon he just wanted a blat and to be nosy, just when i got a bit too fast for the lanes he'd thought he calm me down (which was fine really).
Copper was a well nice bloke. Then i found out he'd been following me down the A2 for ages, but was out of camera reach, but i'f i'd have stayed on the A2, he'd have cought me and done me.

We got pulled about 3 yrs ago in my mates dad's Punto GT. It was about 4am comming back from Kellys Portrush and the copper had a hairdryer held up as we went past at 120mph. We got pulled in further down the road and waited for the other cop with the radar gun to arrive.
He arrived and had a chat with the cop already there and let us go with a severe warning. Apparently he had not used the gun correctly or something and they had no evidence - lucky or what?
