I don't like PAS, reason being to me is with it you can't feel the road in the steering but I can without it. Just a pain when parking.

I had no PAS on project Vsport initially, just a manual column and a quickrack from a 1.2 16v (epas rack) feel whilst driving was good but wasnt easy to drive fast as with almost 200 bhp and a high revving engine you needed 2 hands on the wheel at all times and changing gear anywhere other than a straight was difficult.
I now have the same rack but with an epas column form a corsa C and its great to drive. speed sensitive steering resistance and variable resistance when you want it
