I had a year unpaid at college and then a year doing the job with no wages to get where i am now, pay starts from 17th this month!!!!!

my first job i got was by who i knew.
the work i get now is by what i know, im a carpenter by the way.
but i think it does help allot if u know people ie friends, family. that can help you get work.

What I know I think. Didn't know anyone when I went for my interview anyway.
Used to work in a FE College, so I know enough to work in a Secondary School.

who i know, mate said i had the job before id even gone in for an interview. didnt even have an interview, just started work a day after speaking to my mate.

Start my new job monday, going to a company that turned me down when i left school, just been taken over just as i finish college, said he picked my application out as he knew i was keen on working there as i had applied before
