Having some problems when braking in the Corsa. The shaking gets worse as you brake more/press harder on the pedal.
The car has quite new red dot discs and Mintex Pads. When braking down the steering wheel shakes like hell.
First thoughts will go to warped discs etc.
What else could it be? I've warped a disc before and this feels different to that. I've replaced the discs, Pads, ball boints and lower joints within the last 2k miles.
Dodgy CV? Brakes need bleeding/air in line? Bush?

Seems like warped discs, but I've had similar problems which was down to tracking and wheel balancing.

Had two wheels balanced too... and it did it on a different set of wheels. Might go and check the caliper bolts are tight later on

Id go get it all tracked and balanced to start off with phil and if that doesnt sort it then looks like you've warped a disk.

Hey Guys, i am about to change my discs and pads and was wondering how to get the calipers off. I have tried using a 10mm allen key and a hammer, but i didnt want to get carried away. Any suggestions? I have already previously upgraded my calipers, disks and pads. I'm not sure where the calipers are from, but they have 978 on one of them? Does that make any sense?

Mine does it too, but my inner tyre is worn to fuck, so I put it down to tracking. I'll get it done at the same time as new tyres.
I'm used to it but when other people are in the car they get really quite worried, and understandably to be honest!
