Just toying with a few ideas at the moment with what to do. This is one possibility.
Was just wanting some ideas for what cost is involved for a setup including all of the needed upgrades and mapping etc from a standard x16xe engine. Also what other mods complement them nicely? So far i was thinking full exhaust system and manifold along with maybe some mild cams.

Cheers Gavin

Pointless fitting mild cams, get some "decent" ones.

£1-£2K is a decent estimate.

correct. we do a drive in, drive out service, fully mapped and set up for £2000 using jenvey tb's and omex 600 ecu. comes with loads of features. buying the kit in bits yourself will come to around £1700.

Does this include any uprated parts on the engine? Assuming that on the re-map you may be raising the rev limit etc.

Durham is a bit of a treck though

dont mind the road tripping part, Its just getting back from there without a car thats the problem

Just need to decide what to do

either

a) get piston rings replaced and leave it as it is

B) get the rings done along with a remap and intlet and a few other lil bits.

C) Replace the rings and tb it

All depends how long i can invisage keeping the corsa

oh, and you'd keep it a lot longer when you realise you can own loads of cars that aren't expecting to be owned by a corsa lol!!!
