just wired a sony headunit into my mums car.
all wired up correctly but i dont get ne sound. just get beeping when u press the buttons.
ne ideas on wot it can be

most new headunits have a circuti protector in them in case of a short circuit so the amp doesnt fry. i wire might be shorting out on the bulkhead etc.. in which case u will have to find it. try pulling the headunit out a little see if it makes any difference, if it does, be careful when pushing it back in.

nope tried that cos thats wot happend on my jvc but its not that.
i get the occasional crackle.
