Sold!!!  I want it back.
Although the pontiac GTO (same as the vaux manaro) go for about £8500 on 2004 plate in America, so may have to get one of them

its now got 57,700 miles on it after a trip to peterborough and back to get my passport sorted
oh and included in sale are:
standard v-grill
standard sport suspension (shocks and springs, and top mounts as it has polyurethane top mount bushes on it at the moment)

sticker under bonnet says cam belt was done at 41,000 miles

Few questions people have asked:
cambelt was done 41,000 miles.
only problems are:
drivers side sticky window common problem (gets about 2/3 the way down then sticks, but lean on it a bit and it works fine, and always goes up as it should.
exhaust sounds a little tinny at times, but i think thats because last owner used a cheap exhaust instead of vaux replacement.
couple of bits of small rust on the boot (as expected lol), but other than that, its in pretty good condition as i've waxed it a lot, mostly with meguairs cleaner wax which is good stuff.
As you can see, these are far from big problems!
head gasket as far as i'm aware hasn't been replaced (i got it at 48,500 so wouldn't have expected it to have gone by then), and is showing no signs of it going (coolant levels don't drop, oil after 5,000 miles is still clean)
it drives very nicely, cost very little in maintenance and doesn't let me down, the only reason i'm selling is i need the cash from it to pay for visa, passport, insurance, flights and the stuff i need to get me started in America
Plus, my number is 07791983645 as I'm not always on internet and people wanting to view at short notice could do with a contact number (sorry ash!)
Also please note I won't be able to let the car go until about thursday, mainly cos i still need it lol, ideally i could do with keeping it for a month, but don't want to be turning people down now and not finding a buyer when i'm ready to go.

durham is 130 miles away from me.... i've driven further to view a car with a friend (for him, not me!)
so far i've got someone (hopefully) coming to view on saturday, and won't be letting anyone view before then (sorry), but if you do want to view then give pm me and i can get in touch if its a no show

there's some pics of interior and engine bay, there are no rips in any of the seats, or no bad scuffs, stains, fag burns etc etc (don't think its been smoked in)

And there's the rust on the boot (and there are a couple more small pieces, one between the lock and number plate, one on the bottom right of the tailgate.
there are about 2 small dint/creases in it, on the passenger side (car door / trolly marks), but i can't get them to show on my camera, they're too small.
oh... and don't be worried the car looks orange on the second picutre, my camera obviously has mental problems, and the cracking effect on the rubber seal is just rain dust - the rubber is fine

none of the bolters have any wear on them.
i'd probably get the rust done if i was keeping it, but it hasn't really grown in the 15 months i've owned it.
weather permitting, i'll be changing the oil tomorrow as well as i've sorted all my visa paperwork (thank god).

Just changed the oil with castrol gtx (brand hore), shouldn't need any servicing doing to it for a while now (last full service was december before MOT), since then i've changed oil (today) and cleaned airfilter (couple of months ago)

pic of the speakers in the boot (very simple as you can see, wires could do with a tidy up but i made it so i could whip them out quick for when i want to fill car up with golf clubs lol)
