Personally i wouldnt bother.
I presume if your 360 breaks with the 3 red light error...this would render your HD DVD Drive useless right?
If it was me, i'd buy a normal HD-DVD player.

I just think that's false economy TBH.
I could pay £100 for the 360 one, even it breaks, I have to shell out say £200 for another one but I still have a games console and HD DVD player rather than just a HD DVD player?

If i already had a 360 and wanted hd-dvd i'd buy the drive.
Can be used on your pc as well.

Even if it is, if you have a 360, 100 quid isn't much to get hd-dvd.
